Golf darts rules
Golf turns the board into a course: hole 1 is the 1, hole 2 the 2, and so on. Like real golf, the lowest score wins. It plays fast, solo or with up to eight players.
Rules
- Play 9 holes (1 to 9) or the full 18 (1 to 18).
- Each player throws three darts at the hole's number.
- Your last dart sets your strokes for the hole, and you can stop after any dart to keep a good one. Or play best dart: throw all three and keep the best.
- The fewest strokes over the course wins. Level totals are a tie.
| Dart that counts | Strokes |
|---|---|
| Double | 1 |
| Treble | 2 |
| Single | 3 |
| Nothing on the number | 5 |
Last dart or best dart
Last dart is the usual pub rule, as DolfDarts, Darthelp and GolferHive describe it: hit a double first dart and you'll want to stop, since a worse dart after it would count instead. Tap Stop to keep it. Best dart is gentler for beginners. Pick either under Scoring when you set up. The stroke values are DolfDarts' and GolferHive's: double 1, treble 2, single 3, anything else 5.
